    Summary

Bruce presses his lips on the back of his hand, and Clark lets him, a small smile gracing his lips.

Clark and his smile, bright, blinding; like the sun that fuels him. It is a remarkable dichotomy, how he seems to be the most human of them all; how he is filled with hope, always seeing the best in others even if there is a little to see.

Then he flies across the sky; a streak of red and blue so quick you miss it in a blink. Then he shoots lasers from his eyes, his very breath capable of extinguishing fires. Then he throws punches — deadly even without the finesse Bruce would have utilized.

    “What are you thinking about?”

    He pulls Clark closer, “You.”

    Summary

“‘Course I’m okay.” Neil smiled peculiarly. “Tonight’s the night.”
    “What night?”
He laughed, staring absurdly. “The play. The play is tonight.”
    “It is?”
“What’s gotten into you, Todd?” He felt along his forehead for a fever he wouldn’t find.
Todd swallowed and started to bring himself off the floor. “Just had a weird dream, I guess.”

OR my timeloop fic where Todd gets stuck reliving the night of the play until he can save Neil

    Summary

Neil knew, better than anyone, that Todd Anderson was special. Ethereal, even. He was warm and earnest and gentle in a school that, most days, was more excrement than excellent.

It should have come as no surprise when someone else seemed to come to that same realisation.

It was fine. Todd deserved the recognition. Neil wasn’t jealous.

    Not at all.
