This tale is now a comedy where everything goes wrong in the most hilarious way possible. I changed it to 99 chapters and plan to add smaller chapters in greater numbers as I go. It only ends when Anthony's descent into madness is complete.

Gentle Reader,
If there is one thing that the ton finds more delicious than scandal, it must be envy. And no single figure has garnered more of the so-called Deadly Sin than Viscountess Kate Bridgerton. Having survived their first country visit in Aubrey Hall, the Viscountess and her Viscount (and it is no accident that This Author lists the lady first) have been seen at nearly every society function in London. Even Her Majesty the Queen has been seen summoning Lady Bridgerton to her side. Perhaps there is a lesson to be learned from Kate Bridgerton’s success, and a warning too. Summary
Suddenly Bridgerton slammed the opponent who’d hit him right into the glass in front of him. His shoulder hit the man with a thud and the plexiglass swayed towards them. Kate startled as the huge man hit the ice, part of her drink sloshing out of the plastic cup.
“Fucking hell!”
Bridgerton turned towards her, as though he’d only just remembered that he was in an arena surrounded by people currently screaming for him. She could see his dark hair damp as it curled out from under his helmet and he grinned at her, his teeth straight and white. Fuck.
