Summary
Once upon a time, there was a man. He was brave, braver than most. He was alone, his wife passing before the apocalypse that took over the world. For years, he had taken care of others, providing shelter, food, safety to those who had none and ruthlessly killing the Visitors that came to kill the people he protected. Until one day, he disappeared. Those who had lived with him had said the homeowner had kicked them out one day, yelling that it wasn’t safe and they could never return to that place. Rumored sightings of the Pale Man around that house had amped up the danger, and so for five years that house at the end of the world had been left untouched, and the two men living inside it had begun to return to normalcy, just the two of them. Until the day a group of refugees had approached the house of the legend that had saved countless lives, and found him playing house with the most ruthless Visitor of them all.
