Summary
In all her years of being a parent, Elijah has learned this: you should take your pleasures where you can. Namely, getting wasted with her big brother, whilst said brother's wife went out to pick up men to share with him later.
Somehow, this resulted in Elijah and Finn, as well as a few of Elijah's descendants, members of their family coven, doing a ritual in Elijah's front room.

He's about to go through his monthly ritual, becoming a wolf for the night, and what he really wants is his mother. Instead, he has no way to contact her, a witch chanting random shit, which can only mean something bad, and the older sister of his former best friend is staring at him in horror.

Elijah doesn't regret running from her siblings again, not when staying ensured that her twins would end up like their long dead older brother, but she would like it to be known that hiding in a cabin, in the middle of winter, with no humans likely to stumblr across them anytime soon, was not her idea of a good time. Especially not when she was reliant on animal blood for the winter, since her twins were still depending on her for sustance.

Summary
Elijah Mikaelson, formally Elijah Mikjállsdóttir, was one of the oldest vampires around. An Original vampire, in fact. And It was whispered that her retained fertility was a result of her status as an Original, as opposed to any other vampire. Not even those down her sireline had retained their fertility the same way. Of course, it was a mixture of her magic-using brothers being overprotective of her pregnancy, and pure luck that her mother had acted when she did, that had resulted in Elijah's children after her family were turned into vampires.
But never let the truth get in the way of a good story, and some thousand years since losing her first spouses, and carrying 9 pregnancies to term, Elijah has come across a child that looks very similar to her late wife, with a few years added...

Summary
Fox had known from a very young age that he and his brothers were slaves. Nothing but disposable fodder for the Republic. And thus it had always baffled him when Cody had spoke of the kind Jetti he served under, or when Wolffe spoke of his as a buir. Fox had never had a kind interaction with a Natborn. In his eyes, they were all the same greedy men. This did not stop him of course, from taking the pirate's deal.
Or: Hondo kidnaps Fox, and upon seeing how smart Fox is, offers him a job. Fox takes it. This, somehow, winds up saving the Galaxy.

Fed up with the Senate's osik, Fox comes to the realization that the Guard is not technically employed by the Republic. So the Coruscant Guard decides to go on leave. Permanently. What's the Senate gonna do about it? Fire them? As it turns out, you can't really fire people who don't legally work for you. And if the Senate crashes and burns while they're gone, well, that's not really under their jurisdiction right now, is it?
Or: How Fox and his Corries get their long awaited vacation away from the Senate (and never come back)
