Really, it would have been completely fine. Great, even! Sol knew people with absolutely dogshit roommate situations, so Jane was perfect.
But that was the problem. Sol knew herself well enough to know that she had a soft spot for good girls. Pretty girls with long hair and sweet, open faces who would cry so beautifully while they had their worlds opened wide by Sol’s fingers and tongue and strap. And god, Janey was perfect.

They don’t know the way he’ll smooth down her hair so it doesn’t tangle up against the pillow, the way he’ll kiss her forehead for a heartbeat too long once he’s sure she’s asleep.
