There was only one mundane thing that Saheon had allowed himself to despise, despite it not being life threatening in any way… that being: mornings.
From a young age he's always struggled to wake up in the morning. It's not uncommon for teenagers to struggle with the kind of schedule living in a village requires.
A luckier Baek Saheon may have envied the children in the city for getting to wake up at 7 am, but the him in this world was unlucky enough to envy everyone who wasn't born in his damned village.
But now, an even unluckier Baek Saheon now envies everyone not rooming with Kim Soleum, because why is he stuck making tea for a psychopath at 3 in the morning?

Qterw-D-1514 [Listen up, kids!] was a D Grade Darkness belonging to Daydream.
The Darkness took the form of the three-story Sunday Kindergarten. Inside, the kindergarten operated according to a normal daily schedule.
One peculiar trait of [Listen up, kids!] was that everyone entering the Darkness was physically transformed into a child inside. Such a drastic alteration of the human body should have resulted in severe contamination upon returning to reality.
There was the escape method he had devised.
The weather in the real world was just as sunny as it had been during the final moments at Sunday Kindergarten.
But... Why hadn't he returned to Daydream's office?
The sleeves of his black business suit hung loosely past his hands, while his trousers had slipped down from his waist, far too large for him now. He became a child.
Still frozen in confusion, Soleum suddenly found his child-sized body lifted into the arms of a tall man, wearing a dark navy jacket zipped all the way to the high collar.
He has an enormous, gruesome-looking scar.
As a devoted DER reader, Soleum recognized it instantly.
The person holding him in his arms was Agent Choi.

Oh goodness why does this fic feel so eerily similar to the novel's writing style. This is just Baek Deoksoo secretly fueling his braunsol needs isnt it ahhh I see you I see you. Ok in all seriousness this fic really handles the characters well and I can see that the creator understands said characters on a deeper level. The mannerisms feel natural and I love how much more sarcastic, yet wary Soleum is, just like in part 3. I can even feel the implied contamination the author is trying to drop in too its amazing this fic is so well written and I'd love to see more of their work past domestic stuff
Update: Okay woah I thought this was a domestic fluff fic, I didn't expect it to go all in on the contamination, but I'm not complaining in the slightest ! I love the inner conflicts within Soleum, especially with how contaminated he is, and the loopholes Braun abuses to keep spending time with Soleum alone. This was a really really entertaining fic and I'm always in for a bit of possessive Braun 👀👀 Also the writing style is really good too. Can't wait to see moree !!!!
