Had you told Shouta one week ago that he would be hunting down the number one hero for murder, he would have laughed in your face. Well, not laughed, since he hates people knowing what his real laugh sounds like. Maybe scoffed derisively, then slid back into his sleeping bag and passed out in preparation for another mind-numbing night of patrol. All Might – voted number one blond ten years running – would sooner cut his own arm off than willingly hurt a person. Literally anyone picked off the street could tell you this in total confidence – even Endeavor, voted number one All Might hater ten years running.
And yet, here Shouta stands, in an abandoned building that reeks of mildew and mold, across from the former Symbol of Peace, who still wears his garish costume, stained with days-old blood.

"You do not have any kind of teaching qualification, do you Yagi-san?"
Toshinori squirms in his seat under Nedzu's beady gaze, his legs awkwardly cramped in the small chair.
"No..." he admits shamefully, "but I could-!"
The principal puts up a paw and shakes his head, "I cannot jeopardize the teaching of my students just to have you find a successor, no."
Nedzu's eyes shimmer in a way that leaves Toshinori distinctly unsettled, "Tell me, Yagi-san. What kind of volunteering have you done before?"
He rushes to comply, very sure that Nedzu would manage to do something entirely unsettling again if he stalled too long, "I've done stuff with soup kitchens-"
"No time to get you qualifications for that."
"I've done fundraising-"
"Not applicable."
"I, um, merchandising?"
He pointedly looks at Toshinori's outfit (pin striped yellow slacks and a coral pink shirt), and he continues hastily, "I've done visits to hospitals-"
"Also not applicable."
"I, um," he desperately grabs at straws, "cleaning? I've done. Cleaning."All Might, or rather, Yagi Toshinori, becomes a janitor at U.A. It goes much better than expected.

Summary
With Aizawa still out of commission on the Monday after the USJ attack, the question is, who is going to teach Class 1-A. All might is out recuperating as well and the rest of the teachers are already stretched thin working on the security on top of their own classes.
The kids are shaken and on edge from the devastating events the week prior and need someone with a steady hand and a kind voice to get them back to a sense of normality.
It's a good thing that All Might's secretary offered to come in for the day just to keep an eye on them.

Summary
The Hero Public Safety Commission implements a new publicity stunt meant to drum up some good PR. Heroes and civilians will get anonymously paired up as pen pals for a few months. Fans get to talk to heroes, and the HPSC gets to say their heroes are down-to-earth and involved with the people. It’s a win-win. All Might doesn’t need the publicity, but he feels like it’s a good opportunity nonetheless, so he enrolls in the event.
Problem is, All Might’s pen pal writes some pretty concerning stuff. He’s sure the kid is being bullied. And even worse… the ‘anonymous’ person on the other side begins to sound a lot like a certain successor of his. He’s going to get to the bottom of this. And if he finds out somebody’s hurt a single hair on his student’s head? Well… he’s the number one hero for a reason.
(AKA: the dadmight-centric Aldera Faces Consequences fic I’ve always wanted to write.)
