Desmond needed a job after Bad Weather was closed down for illegal gambling on centaur races.
Yes.
It was as dumb as it sounded.
So now, here he was, applying for an in-house support (whatever that means) for an unknown training center with a centaur that, apparently, needed some assistance after an injury he sustained last year.
He guessed his blood would lead him back to the centaur racing scene sooner or later.
At the very least, in-house support meant he was supposed to fade into the background.

All Guts could hope to do was correct Griffith’s mistake - to put an end to whatever this all was. He ignored the searing pain on the nape of his neck. He ignored the ache in his hands from clawing his way to this summit of hell. He ignored the audacious voices from above that tried in vain to bring him to reason. He ignored the distant screams of terror from below.
He could fix this. He could return to Griffith’s side once more, and they could fix this together.

During a training lesson gone wrong, Alastor finds himself in a Pentagram City he doesn't recognize.
