The pot of lilies he was once so obsessed with taking care of wasn't on the shelf near by the window anymore. According to Whitaker, all of the plants have wilted by the time he moved in briefly 2 months ago. He had apparently been given permission to throw them out from Robby. Including the vase. It wasn't the kid's fault, he thought he was just helping, but Robby had owned that vase for almost as long as he had his prehistoric bed. When Abbot suggested that he get a new and bigger vase, Robby proclaimed:
“It works just as fine as it is!”
“I'm pretty sure it's old enough to legally drive.”
“You and I are old as shit and we're still functioning, aren't we?”
