Summary
Adults never ask each other the obvious things. The snow is white, the water is wet, the construction in the pit will probably never end, and having been born with wings, you can fly. Of course, everything has its own nuances: snow can turn yellow, the water dries up, the pit is backfilled, and a cold prevents flying. But it's pretty simple, right? Otherwise, why does anyone need such bulky piles of feathers on their back?
Trant’s wings cast muted golden shades, from delicate beige on the down to noble metallic on the flight feathers when sunlight lights them up. Undeniably beautiful and mesmerizing, they are completely, desperately useless.
