Merle never prayed to God.
He liked to think that God had abandoned him the second that their deadbeat of a father impregnated that bitch for a mother—bitches if you count his baby brother's. Thoughts aside, God was asleep when he was beaten black and blue, God was nowhere when he ran off and left his brother to that piece of shit's mercy, God didn't exist every time he snorted meth lined up on some surface and get off the high.
So if heaven's idea of divine intervention involved him taking care of teenagers then this was one hell of a joke.

Pink hair. School uniform—not Jujutsu High's, some other school's, navy and a white hoodie as the undershirt, peeking out at the collars, completely unsuited to what was happening.
A face Yuta caught in profile: young, round-cheeked, wearing an expression of mild interest in the way someone might look at a puzzle they'd seen before.
He landed like it cost him nothing—like the concrete and the distance and the force of what had thrown him were all just mild suggestions he'd chosen not to follow.
He turned to look at the curse, and he had his hands in his pockets.
"Shit," he said, conversationally, to no one in particular. The word arrived with a kind of easy, unselfconscious candor that somehow made it feel less like an expletive and more like an honest assessment.
"My bad. I'm still getting used to classifying these guys, y'know?" A beat. He tilted his head at the curse in a way that was almost—almost—appraising. "It's usually just weak or strong for me."

The doors rattle. Screaming ceased. Din felt scared, but he knew what was coming. The droid would find him, but the Mandalorian would be faster.
This dream has never changed in the thirty years since it happened to him.
Din holds himself, clutching the sleeves of his red robes, smelling his mother's perfume even though he knows he doesn't remember what it smells like anymore.
But...he does.
How does he remember?
OR. Force osik. Din gets sent back in time to when he was saved by Death Watch, except Cody and the 212th save him instead.

Suguru puts on his best kindergarden teacher voice, and bites down the knee-jerk reflex to say, Why the fuck would you do that? “Why… did you eat it then? If you didn’t know what it was?”
Itadori shrugs. He’s pondering something serious, in that tiny brain of his. He wrings his hands as he looks up, like he’s still deciding whether Suguru is worth telling.
Suguru wouldn’t believe the reasoning from any other kid, because it’s such a stereotypical ‘hand-in-the-cookie-jar’ response; but Itadori’s face is determined, his eyes wide and so, so honest, that Suguru finds himself believing; “It told me to.”
