Summary
The first time the change happened Merlin was only 10 summers old.
It had felt like he tripped, falling to his knees suddenly and without warning. He thought the pain of skinning them was the worst of it, and for a few moments that was true.
“Merlin?” Hunith called after him, “You okay, love?”
Merlin couldn’t even focus on the ground as his fingers shook against the dirt, “I don’t know, mum!” Pain crackled along his back, it had lanced up every individual bone and struck at the back of his skull.~~
Once a month Merlin is beset by a transformation. He can only describe is as monsterous.
His hopes for a cure are wearing thin, but still he does his best to keep his nature hidden as he naviagtes his life in Camelot at Arthur's side.

Summary
“And you?” the drider said, his voice gravel and disdain. “What are you?” There was the briefest hesitation as his many eyes regarded Phaere, then dropped to the lyre that was still clutched in her hands.
“…aside from a dark minstrel." Astarion noticed how Phaere’s shoulders tensed at the term. “One who truly appreciates the beauty of the lyre.”
Astarion heard her take a breath, but before she could speak, he watched as she practically folded in on herself, the tell-tale sign that her mind and parasite had connected with the drider’s.
Then the connection broke, and Phaere stumbled forward. Astarion and Karlach both moved simultaneously, stepping forward to catch Phaere by her arms as her legs gave way and her lyre clattered to the ground.
“Are you alright, darling?” Astarion asked in a hushed whisper. He could hear her heartbeat this close, a quick and steady thud-thud-thud of… something like fear? “You look like you’ve seen a ghost.”
Phaere lifted her head and audibly swallowed.
“…Rylbros?”
Or: A formerly lolth-sworn Drow bard comes face to face with her past. And she must make a choice.

Which is how Dark finds himself staring down the blades of nine heroes, wondering why this is his life.
“So,” he begins. “Sorry ‘bout the whole, uh, trying to kill you repeatedly for millennia thing.” For some reason, this makes the heroes tense further. “…No hard feelings?”

Summary
In biology, a nymph is the juvenile form of some invertebrates, particularly insects. Rookie Leon S. Kennedy, in Raccoon City in the midst of the worst night of his life, is not an insect. Until he is, at which point his usual story takes a sharp left turn and goes straight off a cliff.
Or, an AU of an AU where Leon, in the middle of Raccoon City, gets infected by a plaga six years too early. Becoming a monster in a city filled with them is terrifying enough, but when your options are adapt or die, you take what you can to survive. Plus, it has its perks. Being bite proof is one of them.
(This is self-indulgent and I'm writing snippets non-chronologically, so don't be surprised if chapters move around.)

The mask was warm in his hands. It was always warm when he held it.
Somehow, Link didn’t think this god was dead. He didn’t feel dead, anyway, and Link usually trusted his gut when it came to magic.
“I’ll figure it out,” Link promised the mask. “It might take a while, since we’re not in Termina anymore, but… I’ll figure it out. As a thank you for helping me so much.”
Or: Link breaks a mask and gets adopted by a god.

Summary
Some months after taking down Victor and making sure Grace was safe before allowing her to return to work, Leon has some down time and is able to work on things that he’s been putting off. What he had never expected was for duplicates of himself dropping into his world.
Nor had he expected D.S.O to make him the primary caregiver for said duplicates.
Now with six versions of himself within his mansion, Leon prays that no more materialize. He’s running out of names to give and worries he’s running out of space.
It doesn’t help that Umbrella and the Connections still have some ugly surprises still waiting in the shadows.

ONI and UNSC HighCom had thought it was some sort of Flood mutation. Or something Flood-like. But they had assumed wrong. It hadn't resisted capture as much as was predicted. It was still a humanoid. It spoke and thought freely. It was more of a he, and he preferred to be called Alex Mercer. This is what caught Doctor Halsey's attention. He was alive, he wasn't human, she wanted to understand someone like that while ONI wanted to use him as a weapon. So a deal was struck.
Under the vigilant guard of the Master Chief, Halsey would get to interview Alex Mercer, to really understand just how someone like him operates on a psychological level. And, in exchange, ONI would get to keep an eye on something they considered dangerous, and use the information gathered as they saw fit.

By some… freak chain connection, when Raccoon City Syndrome woke up after 28 years, the other viruses that Leon Kennedy's had over the years are awake now too… including one shape-shifting BOW parasite that infected Leon exploring the ocean cruiser—The Starlight, which suddenly allows him to access other virus and parasite based abilities(and is suddenly willing to help him)… while his T-Virus infection still accelerates through his body.
Now with Leon more virus than man, and a young FBI analyst kidnapped into the Rhodes Hill Chronic Care Center, what's a DSO agent to do when you're a floating petri dish, a monster?
Help. However he can. But there's questions and consequences to be had when a well-meaning parasite rears its head alongside Raccoon City Syndrome...
Or: Author smashed together ideas from all the viruses that Leon's been infected with, took a dash of inspiration from other Infected!Leon AUs, Venom, RE: Gaiden(and made it her own canon, so I'm doing my own thing with it), and Baoh the Visitor by Hirohiko Araki, and rolled it all into another self-indulgent AU. This is my version of the Infected!Leon AU.

Obviously, they had to secure the leaker, one Dana Mercer, before Blackwatch could get to her, since it was obvious she knew more than just what was leaked onto the internet. What they didn't expect to find hiding alongside her was her brother, Alex Mercer...or so he appeared to be.
