Jazzy music greeted him in the other end, topped by Mando’s voice:
Thank you for calling TV-shop. You’re in queue. Please hold. We’ll serve you as soon as possible.
Thank heavens, Mando’s words played on repeat, with only short breaks of jazz in between. Luke’s hand resumed its ministrations, and unbidden, he moaned back into the phone:
“Yes, huh, yes, mmmgh, please, as soon as possible…”
He only realised what he was doing when he heard the click of his call being picked up in the other end.
TV-shop, how can I help you? a young female voice chirped.
“W-what?” Luke gasped in momentary confusion, until it all dawned to him: Of course. What was he thinking? That Mando would answer every call personally?

“Good. In that case, could you help me with an argument against a production company? I’ve made a contract with them about voicing characters for their animations. Now they’ve taken all my recordings and used their AI to do anything they want with my voice: new animations, TV commercials, even audio porn, all without paying me anything.”
“Eh, hmmm, I see…” Luke tries his best to sound sympathetic, despite the fact that he has spent the nights of the past week getting off to that very audio porn made without this poor voice actor’s consent.
