Summary
Important note: This story used to have the title "Between heaven and hell" but after struggling with that story I decided to change my approach slightly, hence the new title. The first chapter is also new.
Generally the storyline I had planned is going to stay very similar though so if you were interested in "Between heaven and hell" I hope you would also like this version of it.Summary: Life as a demon can be quite monotone, even when you are a powerful cat prince who rules over the streets of Brooklyn. When Magnus Bane, the demon in question, receives complaint about three Shadowhunters he is hoping for an exciting challenge and finds it in Alec Lightwood, a pretty boy who doesn't shy back from talking back to him.
Alec Lightwood surely hadn't planned on getting involved with a demon but he is determined to not let the annoyingly attractive man with the cat eyes have any power over him. When they start hooking up both are just in it for the pleasure but what if, against all odds, feelings do get involved at some point?
A Shadowhunter and a demon ... surely that wouldn't end well, right? -

Summary
After the divorce from her husband Alec Lightwood’s mother wants to start a brand new life and move from New York into a small town in the middle of nowhere. Alec and his three siblings are not happy about having to leave everything and everybody they know behind but after a while they actually start to like their new home. Alec is especially curious about their new neighbor, Magnus Bane, who is also working at the library of their new school during the week and who seems to have a big secret. Alec knows that Magnus is way out of his reach: he is almost six years older than he is and he is also known for not letting anybody into his life but still he just can't help falling for him. Apart from that Alec discovers that there might be something his mother is trying to hide from him, something important about their family and their past that could possibly change his entire life …

Police officer Alec Lightwood is more than surprised when his childhood crush and now famous Fashion Designer Magnus Bane shows up in town again a few days before christmas. He hasn't seen him for a very long time and he is still feeling gulity because of a mistake he has made in their past. But maybe Magnus can forgive him? Maybe Alec can gain him back as his friend or maybe he is even returning the romantic feelings he still has for him? That would definitely be the best christmas present.
