As a student of U.A. High and a hero in training, Midoriya Izuku doesn’t have a whole lot of time to go on dates. Especially when his boyfriend is also a student at U.A. with the shared dream of going pro. So granted, when he says that this is by far the most interesting date he’s been on, Izuku doesn’t have much to go off of.
Somehow though, he still thinks that most people would agree with him.

Summary
When Eddie looked up to meet the patient, he nearly dropped his clipboard, two pools of ocean blues looking up to him through tear-stained lashes.
The man was cradling his right arm close to him, Eddie spying the awkward and jagged look of it, noting that it was no doubt broken.
What Eddie had expected to see was a douchey frat guy already high on painkillers, though what he saw instead was someone who looked hurt, scared. There was a brokenness laced within his baby blues.
“I—I’m sorry.”
The guy didn’t introduce himself, didn’t ask how long it was going to take, when he could get pills, or even how bad it looked. Eddie had an urge to wrap the guy in his arms and never let go.
Stepping a little closer, Eddie looked the guy over carefully.
“Hey it’s ok, I’m here to help you.”

Summary
The first day he meets Buck, he takes him out to dinner.
Together, they pull a grenade from a man’s leg and explode an ambulance. They shake hands and Buck’s shy, pleased smile looks like coming home. Eddie feels something settle in his stomach — something he’s felt before, something he always ignores.
Bobby interrupts, not that there’s anything to interrupt. The ambulance explodes. Buck and Bobby turn to look at him as the ambulance burns, bright and hot, behind them.
“You guys hungry?”

Eddie had first noticed the stacks of neat, barely-there lines during a night where he'd made it his mission to worship Buck with his mouth, his touch—selfishly needing to drag his lips over him, taste his skin. And the way he'd always tremble in need when Eddie started slowly, then teased and praised him for being such a good boy—well, if that was heaven, Eddie had no fears of what came after.
But the scars—hidden high on his thigh, so easy to miss—had halted his worship that night.

Eddie discovers some scars, which leads to questions and worries, and eventually, they have an emotional conversation about how Buck used to cope with things—and sometimes, still does.
And then months later, a promise he made to Eddie gets tested—challenging him to make the call for help. And, of course, Eddie doesn't let him down.
