Summary
Ranma wakes up one day to find himself -not- at the Tendo Dojo, having instead been thrown into another world where he has an intact family, a mellow father, a real mom, and siblings, the only question is how much of this new universe's challenges can he stomach while trying to get home to the world he remembers, the world where he's the best martial artist there is, the world where all his friends know who he is?
And, at the same time, someone -else- wakes up in the Tendo Dojo, equally confused, and trying just as hard to find their way home.

After the harrowing events of the Vol. 2 finale, a repaired and unmasked Luna offers to run a tabletop roleplaying game for her friends.
NOTE: This story takes place after Chapter 68 of Magical Girl Mechanical Heart (or 3.10 for those following the ebooks/audiobooks) and contains full spoilers up to that point. I'm assuming you've read at least that far before coming here. If you haven't, and you decide to read my fic anyway, then you are a brave and foolish soul, and I salute you. (But also, what are you doing? You're going to be totally lost! Go read MGMH and come back!)
In contrast, there are no spoilers for the DIE comic in this story, and no knowledge of the comic or the RPG is required or assumed. In this, you have my blessing to plow forward in ignorance; you can learn the rules alongside the characters.

Summary
After a long training trip in China, master scammers Genma and Ranma Saotome have the perfect plan to find themselves a free place to recoup and recover their finances before setting out on their next big trip. There's only one tiny, insignificant, almost unworthy of mentioning problem: Genma never actually had the son he needed to marry off to the Tendo family.
But a little something like that had never stopped either of them before.
