Summary
It’s April, 1912. Mr. Charles “Charlie” Francis Spring, a humble and hard working young man who is nearing his 19th birthday, is about to embark on a journey aboard the R.M.S. Titanic with his group of friends who all look for a better life in Amerca. They head to the new world carrying little. Charlie’s excited to see the new world, but more so to begin anew now that his turbulent childhood was behind him. It was a new beginning.
On the other side of the English Channel, in France, Nicholas “Nick” Luke Nelson and his mother, along with their dog Nellie, prepare for a holiday to the United States, and they can’t possibly wait any longer to tour New York. Nick has been looking forward to this as it was a break from his life of assisting his father and older brother in the family business. To set off for a journey of a lifetime on the largest and grandest ship in the world was a much needed adventure.
Both Mr. Nelson and Mr. Spring could not wait to see what the future holds…
