Summary

Summary
Pomni enters the world of The Amazing Digital Circus, thinking it's just a game. Realizing she's trapped, she tells herself it's just a dream. Jax tells himself he doesn't care. Caine tells himself it's only data he's collecting. However, the circus is full of lies, and sooner or later, someone will have to break.
This is my first fic. I don't know where this is all going yet, but it gets messy. Please feel free to let me know your thoughts! Also, the Rape/Non-con elements tag is just to be safe. There are power imbalances and manipulation in this story. I have not planned the whole story; I plan one chapter at a time as I'm writing it.
Side Note: The story begins in third person but will eventually transition to 1st person. There will also be some character redesigns later on. For now, it's Barbie and Ken down there until I'm ready to bring in the eventual smut. I promise we're getting there!

Takes place during episode 8, pretty much after Caine’s musical number. The gang continue to go on Caine’s adventures that have gotten noticeably harsher and more mean-spirited. The circus gang are starting to feel its effects, especially Pomni who's shouldering them all. However, Caine has also been focusing more particularly on Pomni. And that’s not a good thing…
