She has heard the story, and from Varric, no less, who witness the doomed romance from start to finish. The unassuming apostate truly a god in disguise, the unknowing Herald bearing his mark, and a love that could never be seen to the end. She’d thought the Inquisitor foolish, in the beginning, especially as it is well-known that she has no intention of ending the Dread Wolf’s life. Oh no, she means to save him, from himself if necessary, and find a way to see his world and theirs melded into the same union she would have them achieve.

DA4 protag heads towards the final confrontation with the Dread Wolf, hero worships the Inquisitor, and is in the middle of everything when the world goes right to shit. I'm just throwing stuff at the wall at this point, in regards to writing around DA4 when we technically don't know anything about it.
