After accepting Varka's help, and enjoying their new found affection, Flins is finally on his way home to Final Night Cemetery. The full Frost Moon rises, and the ancient cycle roars in the Lantern Fae's blood. His cerulean flames flicker across ashen skin as the silver light reaches its zenith.
Varka is along for the ride as he seeks to learn everything he can about the man that is finally looking in his direction. The Grand Master has always craved a partner that can handle ALL of him, and his little light has greedily stepped up for the opportunity.

"Where does it go?" Varka's warm hands on his shoulders again, drawing him closer until he collides with heat and fabric and a strong, sturdy body beneath. Flins' eyes stay open. His gaze sticks to the azure of Varka's coat. "Where does all that hurt go, if we can't see it?"
Inside, he supposes. Inside his cold, aching chest, where his flames aren't enough to burn it away.
Finally, Flins shuts his eyes, fingers hooking in fabric, mouth pressed to Varka's shoulder behind layers of fabric. Fool, he thinks again, and imagines himself biting down. Varka has never seemed to know not to get so close.

One corner of the man’s mouth turned up in a smile that barely reached his eyes. As he set the hat down on the table, he said, “Never mind that. Instead, tell me: to what do I owe the pleasure of this meeting, Firefist Ace?”
Even after over a decade of growth, he was still the same. Ace knew that fucking hat and those goggles looked familiar. They were the same that Sabo used to wear when they were children. The memory of smoke clutched at his throat—just a wisp, rising high in the skyline, over the skiff that his brother sank in off the coast of the Goa Kingdom. Ace tightened his hands into fists to stop them from shaking while a ghost watched him from across the table with a wan, expectant smile.
