Summary
Every year of headache-inducing brats brings a new set of challenges, and Shouta is well aware of this. This year is no different - he’s got Tensei’s younger brother who is practically his pseudo-nephew, a foster kid with a mental quirk who outright refuses to speak during class, and somehow he pulled the short straw to receive Endeavor’s youngest son.
It quickly becomes apparent, however, that even these class highlights will not be the priority focus in avoiding disasters this year. They’re only a week in when the kid he placed in Seat 17 brutally attacks a classmate from 1B, landing the other kid in the hospital and refusing to provide any semblance of explanation to the staff.

“Now that you’ve met everyone in my class, who’s your favorite?”
Eri stares at him. “You.”
Deku laughs a little, even though he looks happy to hear it. “That’s very sweet,” he says, “but I meant out of everyone else.”
Oh. Eri considers this, but after what happened today she doesn’t really have to think about it. “Kacchan,” she tells him. She likes Kacchan because he’s nice and because he doesn’t treat her like she’s fragile and because he made her cookies. And she knows Deku likes him a lot, too, so she knows it’s a good answer.
“Do you want to know a secret, Eri?” Deku smiles again. “Kacchan is my favorite, too.”
Or Katsuki makes it his business to befriend Eri, and realizes he has a lot in common with this traumatized kid.

"I'm in a time loop."
A beat. Kirishima just keeps looking at him.
"Like Groundhog Day?"
Katsuki brings the hand around to his face, dropping his forehead into his palm. "Of fucking course you— Yes," Katsuki confirms, annoyed, "like Groundhog Day."
Kirishima nods, sagely. "Okay. That's… That's not the worst thing, I guess."
"Yeah, well, that's not all."
Kirishima eyes him warily. "There's more to it than just a time loop?"
"I'm also technically from the future."
or, Katsuki's 26th birthday is off to a rough start when he runs into a villain. The worst part? He gets quirked to relive the worst night of his life: the night of Shoto's dinner party and the night Izuku rejected him. Oh yeah, and it's a time loop. So he gets to relive it over, and over, and over.
Worst. Birthday. Ever.
Or is it?
or, OR, Katsuki is offered the opportunity to do-over the biggest regrets of his life. Will he succeed? Or will he be stuck reliving those regrets over and over.

My goodness, this is a real gem. Katsuki’s characterisation is perfect: his doubts, his regrets, his analytical thinking, his quiet longing for Izuku; it all comes through so well. The post-canon fix we all need.

He wants everyone staring at him in the corridors to get a fucking grip, because Katsuki is doing just fine. The world’s still turning and he’s still at U.A, he’s doing his calculus equations when asked and he's still training to become the number one hero.
He also happens to just... not have a mom anymore. Something that apparently has contaminated him in the eyes of every single person in the school.
(Bakugou Katsuki loses his mother in a freak and tragic accident. All he can do is watch as everyone else in his life treats him like glass and wonders why he hasn't fallen apart yet.
Maybe he won't. Maybe he's fine.
He just can't let Kirishima talk to him).
