    Summary

I grieved for my future self. Now that I felt this kind of relief flooding my body, my resolve cracked on the floor like glass, the pieces skidding under my own feet. I didn’t know how I would ever put it back together. But even more distressing, I didn’t know how I would be able to deny him. Our bond. That instinct within him and that had been growing in me infinitesimally each day I saw him, touched him, thought about him…

Because even though Emily had said theirs was triggered by a single moment, I had had a growing suspicion, no matter how much I tried to deny it, that ours was different. Gradual.

That, without even realizing it, I had stumbled into something I hadn’t meant to and was now caught in it. Like a web that fused to my own skin, indistinguishable.

And, finally, that any more than one more weekend with him would kill me, if I ever became a vampire. Would kill us. Swifter and harder and more agonizing than death at the hands of the Volturi could ever be.

OR an Eclipse re-write with everything we love: slow burn, angst, fluff, smut, and a new take on imprinting that isn’t gross. The first few chapters pull heavily from Eclipse, but the writing after those is primarily all my own!

    Summary

Jason Todd died once. It didn’t stick.

Now a revenant with a stuttering heartbeat and a soul that won’t stay buried, he hunts the things that crawl out of the dark. But nothing he’s fought, not demons, not ghosts, not monsters wearing human skin, comes close to the pair now stalking the hunter circuit. They’re carving through veteran hunters like wheat. One is a towering brute in a mask. The other is a beautiful, shackled young man whose presence feels like gravity—quiet, strange, and impossible to ignore.

Every instinct Jason has screams danger.

Something about him feels ancient, bound, wrong.

And yet Jason can’t look away.

He’s going to have to kill them both.

He just wishes the pretty one wasn’t making the job so damn complicated.

    Bookmarker's Notes

THE Dick angst and recovery fic. Such a beautiful fucking series, with incredible depths to Dick, and complicated and messiness, and inevitable triumph that is true to his character. Very special♡♡♡

    Summary

Bruce doesn’t know what’s wrong with his child, but he’s pretty sure kids aren’t meant to work like this.

From the day he had looked up into the tops of the circus tent and saw a frightened mirror image of a boy who had just experienced the worst day of his life, Bruce had instantly gone into emergency mode.

The Gotham PD had wanted to pass the boy off into the care of the circus. The circus had mumbled underneath their breaths about superstitions, about not having a boy like that with them, about not being able to handle something like Dick. So GCPD, not knowing what to do, had started talking about one of the handful of overburdened boy homes that handles a majority of Gotham’s unlucky orphans.

All the while, the camera lights flash bright and loud, wanting to know everything.

    Bruce couldn’t let that happen.

    Not then, not ever again.

    -🦇-

Bruce is trying his best to protect the city that he loves. He doesn't know how exactly his Robins came to be- they're not fully human, not even at all. All he knows is that he wants to keep them safe.
