Summary
He’d never really cared much about how he looked. Or at least, not in the past twenty years. Ever since the diagnosis, he’d stopped giving a damn.
Sure, he still made some effort to stay upright, reasonably presentable. But that was it.
Yet, standing there in front of that mirror, he often imagined what might have happened if Louis had listened to him.
Being young forever didn’t sound bad, right? No sickness. No decay. No death. Just… being Death itself.[...]
Now, sitting up amid the enormous mess that was Armand and Louis’s bed, Daniel realized that time, illness, and decay would no longer worry him.
He’d remain an old fucker forever.

Summary
“You’ve been giving me answers that any spokesperson could have formulated for you. Yet you subtly divert the conversation in a way that makes me think I’m not interviewing the Bruce Wayne the public gets." He thinks out loud. "You obtained a degree in law.” A good one at that, Clark suddenly remembered.
“I think it is best you left, Mr. Kent,” Wayne said formally, rising from his chair. He didn’t even wait for his butler to come rescue him with an excuse, which led Clark to believe he had hit a nerve.
“Why is a man like you leading a double life?”
.
Was it truly a coincidence that Dick Grayson had stumbled into the man’s life, just months after Wayne Enterprises saw a surprising change of course that earned the man criticism from all sides? Were any of the children, scandals each and every one of them in their own right, chance of fate or correlation?
A skiing accident. Accident. Like the ‘accidental’ death and subsequent re-appearance of Jason Todd?or: if you think about it, not knowing that Burce wayne is batman will lead you to different conclusion of why the wayne kids have so many injuries all the time. and ill be damned if i dont take that as a chance to write about clark kent.

Boston.
Shane just got traded to fucking Boston. To where Ilya was. With no apparent fucking reason in the middle of the season. He just won them two cups, why was this happening?
—
Shane gets traded in the middle of the 2016/2017 season, just before the All-Stars. The Tuna Meltdown never happens and Shane and Ilya amicably decide to stop seeing each other but remain ‘friends’. Both are very ‘happy’ with this decision until Hollander is traded to Boston. Now they must work with each other on the same team while Shane wonders what the hell happened in Montreal to get him traded in the first place. The Boston Raiders learn that Shane Hollander is not a chicken, or a virgin (lol) like everyone believes. And the Metros learn just how important Shane was in winning those cups.
And Cliff Marleau is just trying to figure out why Ilya’s messages to Jane stopped.

"Rozy," Brian, the team doctor says, "talk to me, buddy. That puck clipped you pretty good, how’s the pain?"
Ilya blinks. He clenches his jaw against a wave of nausea. He rests his cheek on the ice, and the cold helps a little.
"Bad. Very bad." He swallows. "Is Shane here?"
