Summary
The book is an old, yellowed thing, with a lurid cover more fitting of a pulp romance novel than a harbinger of despair. A mannequin with a blank face and the barest hint of a smile dips a woman in a ball gown. There are strings wrapped around her wrists. She looks like she’s smiling too, eyes shining at the reader.
She isn’t. There is terror in her eyes. She is crying, begging the reader for help.
And Tim knows without a doubt that Jason is holding a bomb.

Summary
Her sister talks of fate and destiny frequently; while they are lovely words, spun into a beautiful tale, the concept gets under her skin. She greatly dislikes the idea of having no control over her life. Morgana-centric. Mergana sort of. If you squint.

Summary
Contrary to current circumstances, Tim knows how dangerous the League is. He knows that if he joins, he will be taunting death every day and there will come a day where they’ll order him to kill someone. Which is why he decided not to join as a ninja.
Just like any other organisation or business, the League has departments. There’s the IT department, the finance department, operations and strategy, member training, and of course leadership and directorship.
But one thing Tim noticed while lightly cyberstalking the League is that they lack an HR department.

or: after being sent to train in france, tim uses the opportunity to learn and train with the league of assassins. but even he’s not reckless enough to join as a ninja, so he joins as the head of human resources. because that’s totally a reasonable thing to do.
and who knows, maybe he’ll pick up a brother or two along the way.
