Summary
Hikaru never got to present his secondary gender before his untimely death. Now, “Hikaru” has returned in his place and is grappling with the confusing biological changes of an omega’s body. As he struggles to understand these new urges, Yoshiki can’t shake the feeling that something is off.

Summary
Yoshiki had been in love with his childhood best friend, Hikaru, since high school. But his clearly unrequited love causes an inevitable rift between them over the years. A single bond keeps Yoshiki connected to the village of his childhood: ‘Hikaru’, his best friend's younger brother, for whom the alpha feels responsible and strangely possessive.
‘Hikaru’ always grew up in the shadow of his older brother. The omega was used to being the second choice behind his older brother, who was more loved and respected by his family and the people of the village. In love with Yoshiki since he first met him, ‘Hikaru’ accepts the painful friendship that the alpha cultivates with him as the only piece of the boy he can have for himself.
The paths of the heart can be confusing, and the immaturity of youth can blind you to what you really should see. Perhaps the time is coming when Yoshiki will realize the fact that has been obvious throughout his life: ‘Hikaru’ was in front of him all along. Summary
Throughout every psychodive, one thing remains constant.
Nagito is friends with Fuyuhiko and Kazuichi. The group goes out to eat after class, they hang out on their days off, Fuyuhiko even walks home with Nagito—or, at least to the train station, before they break off.
It was a little odd to Hajime at first. Nagito seemed entirely indifferent to their existence during the Neo-world program, except for worshipping the ground they walked on on account of their status as ultimates—of course, they were all different people in the simulation. Hajime guesses that the heart longs for what the heart longs for.
