Summary
“You are baby.” He said matter of factly.
“I’m, what?” Hollander seemed offended and surprised all at once.
“I catch you touching yourself and now you can’t even look at me. Baby.” Ilya teased, not moving his eyes away from Hollander’s.
He watched a blush creep under Hollander’s freckles and thought about kissing them. He nearly broke eye contact just from that. He needed to stay focused.
“I’ve just been busy!” Hollander defended himself. He took a step back from Ilya. Ilya took a step forward. He stared at Hollander, making the doubt on his face clear.
Hollander’s whole body was fidgeting. Ilya loved how nervous he was making him. He could tell Hollander was close to breaking.
“Admit it. You are baby.”
“I’m not!”
“Then prove it,” Ilya growled, walking forward until Hollander’s back was up against the wall.
Or; The classic trope: Ilya accidentally walks in on Shane while they dorm together.

Summary
Years after hockey, Shane Hollander and Ilya Rozanov have built a life in Ottawa that still feels a little unreal in the best possible way. Shane is coaching the Centaurs, Ilya is retired and happily chaotic, and their daughter Elena Rozanov-Hollander has decided she wants blades and ice on her own terms: figure skating, not hockey.
As Elena heads into her first competition of the season, Shane copes by learning everything, Ilya copes by being the loudest and most charming skating dad in the building, and both of them love their daughter with a fierceness that fills every corner of their home. A soft, fluffy glimpse into the post-hockey life they fought so hard to have — complete with family chaos, over-analysis, loud support, one beloved dog, and the kind of love that only gets deeper with time.
