Feeling too hungry to wait for Jade and Azul, he went alone to the cafeteria, grabbed a few things and walked towards a table with some freshmen who were also from Octavinelle—but at the moment he sat down, without saying a word, they all started to get up and leave, exchanging a few glances at each other.
Oh. So everyone was actively avoiding him.
Yeah, not the first time it happens. People were already scared of him and Jade, and the way he chose to irritate and bother the other students every other day didn't help his situation either. Floyd would usually laugh about it, thinking it was funny how they would react to him eveytime he started to mention 'squeezing' the others—but oh, he didn't think it was funny this time. Not even a little bit.
With everything accumulated, it all just came crashing down.
Where Floyd reaches his breaking point, and Riddle finds him in his worst.

Everyone at Night Raven College is convinced Floyd Leech is the reason Riddle Rosehearts looks so stressed lately. He’s constantly interrupting him, ignoring rules, dragging him away mid-duty, and generally being… Floyd. From the outside, it looks like Riddle is one bad day away from snapping again, and Floyd is pushing him there on purpose.
So naturally, people start watching. Closely.
But what they don’t see is what happens in private.
When it’s just the two of them, Floyd shifts. He still teases, but softer. He notices when Riddle is overwhelmed, pulls him away before things get worse, and stays with him until he calms down. Meanwhile, Riddle drops his strict composure and actually lets himself relax around him in a way no one else ever sees.

Everyone thinks Floyd is stressing Riddle out. He’s actually the only one keeping him together after Riddle's Overblot.
