Summary
Wally West’s life is about as average and boring as one can get. Sixteen years old, and all he’s got going for him is his County High School’s track record, a substitute position on the school’s Academic Decathlon Team (thank you, AP Chem), and a pair of emotionally unavailable parents. Yikes.
But when Wally stumbles into a fantastical world populated by ghoulish monster folk, everything he knows turns upside down. In his struggle to accept his new reality, he and his newfound companions search diligently for a way to send him home. Except, there’s a catch: if the other citizens of Halloween Town discover he’s a human, he might not ever get out. Luckily, Wally happens to know a thing or two about being an outsider hiding in plain sight. This’ll be a total piece of cake!

Phenomenal characterization, and remarkably believable platonic-to-romantic-relationship progression.
I feel like sometimes the solangelo ship can lean a little one-sided—it’s obvious why Nico might like Will, but why might Will like Nico aside from him being someone to take care of? I think this fic answers that question fiercely.
(And bonus points for giving Sherman actual motivation for being a douchebag; it would’ve been so easy to just make him a mindless bully who likes hurting kids for the sake of the plot, but this author manages to really dig into *why* a character like this would reasonably do that, and it hooked me from the start.)

Homecoming AU.
Ben and May divorced before Peter’s parents died, so when Ben is murdered Peter goes into foster care. It takes just a tiny taste of superpowers for Peter to decide he doesn’t want to put up with his horrible foster father anymore—the streets are infinitely more appealing. All he wants is to be Spider-Man anyway.
So he leaves.
Simple.
Simple, that is, until Iron Man needs Spider-Man’s help. Peter isn’t about to turn down an opportunity to fight alongside Tony Freaking Stark, but he also isn’t going to let his hero know that his recruit is a fifteen-year-old homeless dropout. So they strike a deal. Peter will help Tony. In return, the mask stays on.
And that’s when things get complicated.

Summary
It's time for Varian's pack to have their monthly full-moon run so the wolves can wreak havoc and get the energy out of their systems without destroying Quirin's furniture. Unfortunately, a wrench is thrown into their plans when two of the wolves get caught in a few rogue hunter's traps.

Dread tails him like a second shadow as they hunt down the rest of the wolves. Varian can’t shake the feeling that something is going to happen. They’ve never had the best luck, especially not with hunters, and the girls are playing with fire roughhousing so close to a hunter’s village known for their specialty of trapping wolves.
It would be insanely lucky for them to come out of this unscathed.
