Summary
A few weeks after several of the Remnants of Despair have woken up from the Neo World Program, they begin to remember the crimes they committed during the Tragedy. Kazuichi enters Gundam's cottage one night to find him broken up over the things he has done, and, after comforting him, begins to realize that he doesn't hate the breeder as much as he thought he did.

He needed this. He'd needed it for years. the solid warmth of Will's body pressed against his own, the way his fingers instinctively curled into Will's robes like it was the only anchor in the storm that was his mind. His stupid brain had always stopped him before, finding excuses about boundaries and shit. But here, wrapped in Will's arms with the morning light filtering through the trees, he couldn't remember why any of that had ever mattered.
In classic multiversal-swap fashion, Mike Wheeler and Mike the Brave have swapped places. Mike learns a lot about himself and is forced to stop hiding behind excuses.
