A nearly seamless integration of canon and AU, without making it feel like a harem story with Peter at the center. Peter is traumatized without infantilizing him, I'm loving the characterizations of the various Batfam members, and Bruce is complicated without making him an antagonist. An absolute gem.

Trust Fury to fuck everything up. Now Peter's in a position of leadership he didn't want, with a hundred scared mutant kids hiding (read: stuck) on an alternate universe, and Johnny can barely even look at him. The last thing he needs is any more eyes on him—especially from those weird vigilantes who seem to hold the same anti-mutant (or meta) beliefs as everyone back home.
Unfortunately, Parker luck is trans-universal.

Summary
Viktor would be here in little over half an hour. And that was good. Everyone knew that Viktor was the best of the very best because everyone here was the best and he was the best of all of them. So it was okay.
Except Viktor was either going to fly off the handle and maim everything on sight after watching the first half of that video or he was going to shatter into brittle shrapnel and launch himself like the honed weapon he was at anything vaguely responsible. Either or really. Hard to tell.

Time seems to collapse upon itself. It’s a wonder they make it through the door of their hotel room without kissing again. The door clicks shut, and Yuuri’s hand is on Victor’s face, cupping his cheek. He’s trying to remember when he’s ever touched Victor first, or without asking, and Victor’s saying, “I’m sorry.” Yuuri can’t tell what happens first, or what’s happening next.
“Shut up.” Yuuri holds Victor’s face in both his hands, draws him in, and kisses him.

Instead, she got wrapped up in an all-out game of hide-and-seek between four of the most well-trained vigilantes in the world. Involving Home Alone-esque traps, crushed forklifts, a surprising amount of shoplifting considering they're the good guys, and the beginnings of an epic bond with a smirking, laser wielding, maniac.
Not that she knew that at the time. All she saw was a cute guy hiding behind a desk, and the rest was history.

He's done experiments—he knows how the counter reacts when he hops and spins and leaps and crawls and somersaults. He's calculated his steps per mile at ten different walking speeds. So Viktor knows he's about to meet his soulmate. He's practically choking with anticipation.
Yuuri covered his step counter when he was sixteen. Courtesy of anxiety, everything already feels cosmically significant all the time. He doesn't need the actual cosmos weighing in.
Yuuri is late, running full tilt across his college campus when he crashes into Viktor. Viktor falls, Yuuri catches him, and then Yuuri's gone, leaving Viktor with a broken heart, a spilled coffee, and a luxury sweater from a boutique called "Giacometti". Cue a scavenger hunt, a Venmo war, and an increasingly improbable series of near-misses.

Johnny’s face had gone bloodless, his mouth hanging open. It took Peter a second for the reason to catch up to him, busy as he was, but then it hit him like the proverbial freight train: he’d said it himself, after all. He made a poor sacrifice because he wasn’t a virgin.
Johnny, apparently, was.

An encounter with some cultists leads Peter to an interesting revelation about Johnny that he can't stop thinking about. Another encounter at Security College gives him something to do about it.
