    "Mr Hollander?" God. He couldn't do this. Shane looks up and meets Ilya's eyes. He was into him. He was into him badly, and Ilya was so much younger than him.

    "Call me Shane?"

    Ilya eyes him. His gaze wanders over Shane, where he sits across from him on the grass. In his backyard of the house he had bought with his husband years ago. Ilya took his time eyeing Shane. Look at every part of him. Shane's skin prickled where his gaze landed. This was bad. Being on a first-name basis was too personal. He was crossing another line.

    "Shane," Ilya tries out, and it sounds heavenly from his mouth. Shane didn't know what was wrong with him, but he wanted to moan. This 24-year-old had him in a grip, and he probably didn't even know it.

    Shane was going to go to hell.

    Ilya looks at the space between his legs that had once been occupied by dark eyes and a constellation of freckles and a smart mouth. He feels bereft.

    This sub, Shane Hollander, is special. Not quite a brat, though not sweet and obedient either. The thought of fighting for his submission, of smacking that smart mouth and then kissing praises against it, is tempting.

    A pause. A long pause. Ilya blinks a couple of times, mouth twitching at the corners. Then,

    “You need me to teach you how to fuck your girl, Hollander?”

    Shane needs help satisfying his girlfriend, Jessica. He turns to his roommate, Ilya, for help.

    Ilya’s ball rocketed sideways into the woods with a crack like a rifle shot; somewhere in the trees, a goose honked in outrage.
    “Jesus Christ,” Tyler said.
    “Wow,” Marly said. “That was…what the fuck was that, Roz?”
    Ilya was gripping the club so hard his knuckles had gone white. “Bad swing.”
    “That wasn’t a bad swing, that was like a physics-defying swing. I didn’t know you could make a ball go in that direction. You okay?”
    “Fine.” Hollander was getting married. Getting gay married. Who the fuck was Hollander marrying? He wasn’t even… Ilya cleared his throat, shoved his biggest club back in the bag, noted distantly that his hands were shaking. “Hollander is gay?”
