    Bucky was bartending like he did every night when a ruckus came from the door. A group of men streamed in, laughing and pushing and shoving. They looked rough. If they’d been wearing leathers, Bucky might’ve pegged them as a former-military-turned-biker-gang. Bucky’s experience put them as current, not former military. Possibly special ops. The final person attached to the rowdy group, however, was mostly quiet and very obviously reluctant to be there. Bucky found himself taking an interest.

    Would meeting Steve Rogers and his STRIKE trainees prove to be a good thing or a bad thing?

    “Holy SHIT!” he screams at the top of his lungs, dropping his pizza and jumping at the sudden appearance.

    Upon realizing it’s only Natasha, he tries to calm his racing heart and begins laughing almost hysterically, because he hasn’t been startled in almost two years; since he gained his powers (aside from the first time he heard FRIDAY speak, but we don’t talk about that). Of course it’d be Natasha to startle him.

    Once his laughing quells, he sucks in a breath and tells Natasha, “Dang, you got me good there.”

    Nobody else says anything. Tony’s jaw drops, and Natasha stares at him, frozen.
