One tapped her claws rhythmically on the table, glancing halfheartedly at the screen in front of her, scrolling absentmindedly between different views of nonexistent cameras. Tutting as one flickered out, antenna twitching frustratedly, before it suddenly switched back on, though now devoid of the very thing it was there to monitor. She huffed and rolled her eyes before teleporting away with a soft pop.
This probably won’t make sense if you haven’t read classical conditioning so, uhh, I’d recommend doing that first :P
