Summary
Black cats, shrouded in shadow and myth, have long been seen as harbingers of misfortune, their silent steps weaving whispers of ancient curses. Wherever they tread, they leave behind an air thick with foreboding, a ripple in the fabric of the ordinary that unsettles the heart. Their very presence casts a chill, like the faint echo of forgotten spells from a time when witches walked among us.
Eyes gleaming like embers in the dark, some say they carry with them the weight of centuries-old omens, a living embodiment of the medieval witches who once summoned them from the shadows.
They are not mere animals but symbols... mischief made flesh, the embodiment of whispered fears. They bring not just mischief but the promise of something darker, something just out of reach, lurking in the spaces between superstition and reality.
But is that really the case? In Western folklore, sure, it often is... but how does that apply to this fairy tale? A story of a soldier girl and a guy living a double life...

Summary
The presence felt suffocating, like an otherworldly creature was smothering him with their existence alone. His companions choked on the air, falling to their knees as he just barely managed to kneel.
Something within the light reached out, if his sight was not a blur, he could almost make out the shape of a hand. The ringing, like a screaming choir in his head, raised to a deafening song. A heated, heavy pressure laid against his head, erasing the existence of thought, as his mind was blanketed in white.
Then, like a slice in the air, everything went black.
