Whether to laugh at the performance or be completely irritated by it, he could not decide, so he instead smothered both impulses and turned toward an empty desk. He had barely taken a step before a wooden pointer suddenly barred his way, angled neatly across the aisle, and his gaze travelled its length to find only a smug-looking idiot at the end of it.
The idiot’s smile widened innocently.
“Not so fast, Mr Phantomhive.” 'Professor' Sebastian all but sang. “As you are new here, would you care to introduce yourself to the class?”
