In an alternate timeline where Oliver never took Sara on the Queen's Gambit and therefore was never marooned on Lian Yu, he has still been profoundly changed by his father's death two years previously. After another fight with Laurel about his infidelity, Oliver is stuck in an October downpour. Felicity, with her usual tech savvy ways, made sure she knew about the rain beforehand, and-- taking pity on a stranger-- shares her umbrella after a night out with a friend necessitates her taking a cab home.
