    Summary

The Japanese server was usually a haven for polite silence, but Sanemi Shinazugawa didn't do polite. Logging onto his smurf account, WIND_SCAR, he was looking to blow off steam away from the prying eyes of his coaches at Kimetsu E-sports. As the star mid-laner for the Hashiras, he was expected to be a professional, but sometimes he just wanted to crush people without a team tag over his head.

He locked in a high-risk, high-reward assassin. He was ready to feast.

Then he ran into the player: Tomioka_G.

OR Pro-esports gamer Sanemi met Giyuu, a famous streamer on his smurf account.

    Summary

The flower was paper-thin and fragile, its color long since faded into a ghostly yellow, but it carried the weight of a thousand unspoken words. Suddenly, Sanemi felt a sharp, hollow ache in his chest—a pain he hadn't felt for a long time. It was a remnant of the life he had been forced to abandon, a quiet memory of a bond that the London fog had never quite managed to swallow.

He stared at the brittle petals, the image of a pair of calm, deep blue eyes flashing across his mind. He had spent seven years convincing himself he was a machine of cold ambition, yet here, in the palm of his hand, was proof that he had once been something else entirely.

Carefully, as if afraid the flower would turn to dust if he breathed too hard, he slipped it back into the heart of the book. He closed the volume and leaned his head against the shelf, the silence of the room suddenly feeling much heavier than before.

OR Sanemi returned after his 7 year exile thinking he had fully moved on but he never really left the restaurant

    “Oi,” he snapped. “Tomioka.”

The room stilled—not silent, but attentive. Sanemi’s eyes locked on Giyuu’s bandaged arm.

“You gonna tell us why your sleeve’s bled through,” Sanemi growled, “or do you want me to guess?”

Giyuu met his gaze. Calm. Controlled. A few of the other Hashira glanced over, not surprising—Sanemi’s confrontations were rarely quiet.

Giyuu straightened. “I was careless,” he answered simply. Methodically.

Sanemi scoffed. “Careless? You?” He took a step forward, closing the distance between them with that sharp, storm-like presence of his.
“You’re annoyingly precise to a fault. You don’t just get ‘careless.’ So try again.”

He reached out—not touching Giyuu, but close enough that the warmth of his hand brushed through the air between them. Too close. Giyuu’s breath caught, his pulse tripping over itself, his skin tightening with a prickling awareness.

    An omega’s awareness.
