Summary
Part of him knows Dutch and Hosea are getting frustrated about the lack of progress on finding the Braithwaite’s gold or the Gray’s treasure or whatever the hell it is. Part of him knows everyone is getting nervous about being in one place for so long. Part of him knows that Dutch is stressed and tired, that he’s probably just taking out his frustrations, that he probably doesn’t really mean what he’s saying…
But another, much bigger part of Arthur is stunned and indignant and hurt. And, like a wounded animal, the hurt quickly turns to rage.
“Well how ‘bout you go make us some money, Dutch?”
“…Excuse me?”

Summary
Arthur Morgan did not intend to survive when he gave his hat to John Marston and stayed behind to gain his redemption. As he crawled towards his final resting place, he never intended to wake up again.
But he does wake up. Thanks to time travelers Francis Sinclair and Charles Smith, Arthur's life has been saved by a Saint Denis hospital in the year 2021. The two men were under orders from a mysterious figure known only as The Traveler to save Arthur, as a reward for turning his life around. While Arthur's tuberculosis is on the mend, he finds he has unfortunately developed a nasty case of PTSD from his brush with death. To cope, he goes to live on a Big Valley cattle ranch owned by Jackson and Victoria Linton, two of Mary Linton's descendants. The siblings quickly become Arthur's new family, though Arthur is especially taken with Victoria. At the same time, Arthur is haunted by memories of his past life, from 1883 to 1899.
Navigating the strangeness of waking up in a different century soon takes a spot on the back burner when a ghost from the past begins to threaten the ranch. Arthur must prove whether he really is a redeemed man as he faces a choice between his old life and the new home he has made in 2021.

Summary
When he returned to camp after having been captured, it wasn't pretty.
With Arthur on death's door, the people in his life begin to contemplate whether they were on the right path - if they had been so willing to sit by as one of their own suffered, perhaps it was time to reassess.
OR: Arthur returns from the O'Driscolls in worse shape than depicted in the game, and perhaps it's enough to stir the camp into realising that maybe their priorities have drifted - or, maybe it's enough to shake some sense into Dutch before he descends further into his delusions of grandeur.
