Summary
The Cage was never meant to hold a human. It was meant for one archangel, not two, and definitely not a human soul. Little by little Sam's soul was being destroyed by the torture the Cage inflicted on it. Lucifer and Michael joined together and, with their combined grace, pieced together Sam Winchester's soul and sent him out of the Cage and into the past in the hopes that he can stop this whole thing before it even starts.
Only, when Sam lands, things don't quite go so well. He's not all that sure that this isn't another torture the Cage has provided for him. He's in the past, right after Dean got out of Hell, and he's nowhere near the same man he was before. He can barely remember how to function as a human. It's going to take his family and a little help from a surprised archangel for Sam to start to recover. He doesn't have much time, though, because the apocalypse is still coming and the angels are fighting to get Lucifer free. Can one broken man manage to change the past? Or are they doomed to repeat their same mistakes over and over again?

This is my first fic and I have like no writing experience. I'm using my phone so the formatting might be weird but I really hope it isn't. Uh I don't know like anything about DC (sorry) but I'll do as much research as possible and I hate infrequent updates from people so I'll try as much as possible but I have a really busy schedule.

Mr. Murdock looked puzzled for a moment before it seemed to click. “Oh, Mr. Parker! I didn’t realize it was you. It’s good to meet you,” His smile returned, and he extended his hand. Peter shook it hard enough to seem professional, but not so hard as to break the guy's hand.

Nelson, Murdock & Page was located above a butcher’s shop, which was a surprise. ‘Nelson’s Meats’ was emblazoned above the storefront, and there were models of a duck, a calf and a chicken in one window. The firm’s entrance was to the right, up a steep flight of stairs leading to two doors. The one straight ahead had a piece of paper hanging at an angle, which read ‘Private, no entry’. The door to the left was ajar, and had a matching handwritten sign, reading ‘Nelson, Murdock and Page.’
Peter knocked on the half-open door, poking his head through when he heard a cheery, “Come in!” Foggy Nelson was walking towards him, a smile already on his face. “Hi! You must be Peter Parker. I’m Foggy Nelson, welcome to our offices.” Mr. Nelson stuck out his hand for Peter to shake.
