But, well, looking at the two of us, we can agree that my sister has shit taste in the people she keeps around herself, right?” She grabs her last macaron between her thumb and pointer finger, then turns it around as she closes one eye to peer at it. Instead of eating it, she tilts her head, then glances over at Caitlyn. “Look. We don’t have to be besties. I just want my sister to be happy.” Jinx leans over the table, then deposits the pale green macaron next to Caitlyn’s pastry, reaching into her pocket to pass over a bright blue sticky note. “My number, in case you decide you want to listen to reason.”

As soon as his voice first came on the group call, they had to give him shit. If they didn’t start harassing him, the Blonde Boss Lady would have benched them thinking they were being mind controlled.
Every handler thought they could “handle” the Phoenix team. Tame them, make them palatable, water them down. Turn them good. So they didn’t like Robert.
But they did like his voice.

When John sat down on the throne in the Gaol of the Stagnant Blood, he had expected to be there for a long while, maybe even forever. What he hadn't expected was to fall asleep and wake up in a strange world without Revenants or Lost, and filled with people who insisted they knew him personally. Wait... did that green-haired man say that girl's name was Seraphina?
Or
John gets transported to the world of Code Vein, gets drafted into a war he wants nothing to do with, becomes a Revenant and loses his memory as a result, becomes the Successor of the Blood, takes the world's longest power nap, and (kinda) saves the world of Vein at the expense of his own freedom. Then involuntarily regains his freedom as he's thrust back into his original world and has to deal with the consequences of his past actions, but with none of the memories to go with them.
Familiarity with the story of UnOrdinary (up to episode 224) and Code Vein as a whole is highly recommended in order to understand the story, but you do you.

[Basically, the MC is a SI into the Cyberpunk 2077 story/world as a Gamer of sorts. With the same OP health regeneration, inventory system, stats and perks as the actual character in the game on Normal Difficulty. Not insanely overpowered or invincible, but pretty close. When reality is like a game to you, it’s hard not to seem like a Cyberpsycho, right?]
