Summary
Jaster used to tell tales of how the Mand’alors of years past returned to guide as sparks of pure light. He’d never claimed to have seen one himself, at least not to Jango, but he always insisted the story was true.
Jango never believed a word of it. But as he stood in standoff with a cadre of Jedi, ready to command his followers to open fire, a ball of light appeared before him. It shook in a manner that reminded Jango all too much of Jaster preparing to tell him off. Then it buzzed his head like a warning punch.

Obi-Wan still had the taste of french fries and ketchup in his mouth as he walked down the side of the highway. He wished he would have brought the large coca cola from the fast food place he’d stopped by at noon even if it was watered down. Anything to beat this heat. Five miles to the nearest truck stop hadn’t seemed too bad considering how much worse it could have been but Obi-Wan had drastically underestimated the heat in the desert state of Tatooine and overestimated his own physical fitness. How on earth did people actually live like this?
Obi-Wan wiped the sweat off his forehead with the back of his arm and looked down the highway in either direction in hopes for a saving grace in the form of a passing vehicle. There’s nothing but parched, sandy earth and a smattering of vegetation that might have been pretty if he’d still be in his car with the A/C on blast.

When 18-year-old Obi-Wan Kenobi’s dualsex Stewjoni mating instincts start to resist medical suppression, Master Jinn advises him to give all feelings of lust to the Force. However, Healer Che gently tells him that he should consider giving into his instincts instead, because giving birth to a child would satisfy his mating instincts for at least a decade. All Stewjoni Jedi are granted a rare exception to the Order’s ban on marriage and procreation, so having a child wouldn’t put Obi-Wan’s Jedi training in jeopardy. Desperate to subdue his mating instincts, Obi-Wan decides to take Healer Che’s advice. He lets the Force guide him and has an anonymous encounter with a handsome bounty hunter. Months later, Obi-Wan visits a memorial for a “deceased” prince and realizes he’s carrying the new heir to the Mandalorian throne.

Summary
At the ripe age of six months “Obi-Wan Kenobi” leaves Stewjon and his real name behind. He doesn’t know why and for his safety, the Order decides that it is better to keep the truth for him. The same secret is the reason Obi-Wan never becomes a Jedi Padawan and instead is sent to the AgriCorps.
After one too many of his requests for transfer is rejected, Obi-Wan runs away and due to his own naïveté and desperation finds himself on board a pirate ship. He doesn’t think that meeting a Mandalorian bounty hunter who temporarily travels with Ohnaka will change the course of his life forever.
One contraceptive implant failure later, desperate and with no one else to turn to, he returns to AgriCorps.
Fast forward five years and little Boba starts asking questions about his father. Soon, Obi-Wan meets an ex-Mand’alor who finds Boba eerily similar to his allegedly dead son, a certain Jedi Master and his childhood bully, babysits the Chosen One and has Stewjonian nobility popping on his doorstep looking for their missing prince. It's only the beginning of the journey that will make him rediscover his lost history.
All while trying to deal with reappearance of Boba’s father in their lives.

His fingers brushed the concrete as he stared at the ceiling, the first rays of the sun filtering through the barred window as he took another breath, his chest rising as air filled his burning lungs.
The soft drip of water from the broken pipe in his cell echoed through the quiet early morning as Obi-Wan closed his eyes, his chest falling as he exhaled, trying to focus on the soft breaths of the boy curled up against him.
Cal’s fingers twisted into Obi-Wan’s worn robes and Obi-Wan tightened the hand on the boy’s back as he tried to focus on anything except the gaping sensation of wrong in the back of his mind where the force had once wound like a content tooka.
“It feels wrong.”
Cal’s voice was barely audible but it broke the silence like broken transparisteel and Obi-Wan swallowed around the lump in his throat.
“It’ll be okay,” Obi-Wan murmured, “Just go to sleep, Cal. I’m sure that Master Jinn will come for us soon.”
Taken by Death Watch during a mission to aid Mandalore, Obi-Wan Kenobi and Cal Kestis have a lot to learn about Mandalorians.
Luckily, their savior—Jango Fett—is willing to teach them.
