Shadow Milk Cookie found that there was no reason to ever leave the premises of their shabby cabin. Really, he had no need to! With the means to do anything or be anything at his fingertips, Shadow Milk had no need to ever leave the sanctity of their house- let alone their bedroom. If he had a choice, he never would.
Alas, his obnoxious other-half had to make his opinion known about his 'avoidant' and 'reclusive' behaviors as of late- citing that, 'I worry that you are closing in on yourself. What is happening with you, Blue bird?'
He wonders what he must have looked like to the ancient. A pitiful sight, certainly, given the hesitancy Pure Vanilla spoke with and the extended hand just hovering over trembling shoulders. He must have said something in reply- witty or biting he did not know- as the ancient's brows furrowed, and before he knew it, Shadow Milk was being pulled out of bed.

It happened three months ago, where without any preamble or warning, the Sage of Truth stumbled onto stage one early morning. He had appeared as himself, though his overcoat was wrinkled and monocle crooked. Then, in an almost shrill tone, he announced that his lessons were canceled for the foreseeable future, and that he was unsure when they would continue. Just as quickly as he arrived, he disappeared through a hastily opened portal filled with closed eyes, and since then, the town has not seen nor heard of the Sage.

I don't play DND or know much about warhammer other than a really cool edit of saint celestine, but wow!! this fic is actually so good?? it's also really long which I 100% appreciate! I really love all of these characters, they're all so interesting! Andrei is my favorite because I'm biased towards big burly northmen and the Starks, but Gunthor and Folke and Lucia and Lorenzo are so dynamic and all the asoiaf characters feel so in character too! I love Andrei's and Ned's relationship, especially after King's Landing, and Gunthor taking Len and Arya under his wing!
also littlefinger gets his head blown up by a gun, and that's just lovely <3

Unfortunately for them, her faerie subjects get the wrong idea of why the two Ancients are meeting more frequently and decide to take matters into their own hands.
A potion to bring forth hidden affections given to the one cookie that has some form of love for every single person he's ever known means now White Lily has to try and keep an increasingly cuddly Pure Vanilla from embarrassing himself in front of everyone he crosses paths with. And when Shadow Milk shows up, she needs to keep him from making a mistake that may just drive the jester away for good.
Pure Vanilla is lucky she's always been good at figuring out spell craft... and with an extremely reluctant Shadow Milk's help, maybe they can break this lovestruck haze that her friend is trapped in.
