    When I opened this I expected an average angsty fic, not whatever this fabulous, fucking tearjerker of a masterpiece. SANJI 😭😭 MY BEAUTIFUL BABY BOY WHAT HAVE THEY DONE TO YOU OMFG 😭😩😩😭😭 and when he started to trust the crew, my heart... my heart couldn't take it. I sobbed for the entirety of the second half of this fic 😭 Sanji the First had the most valid crash out ever, I felt the emotion irradiating through the screen, god 😭💙

    “I am so happy that you are here.”

    Sanji sobs.

    “I’m happy you’re alive.”

    He moans like he’s being flayed, like flesh is coming off of bone. Luffy doesn’t stop.

    “You’re wrong, because you didn’t kill him. You were always him. He just got stronger.”

    AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA *pained scream of sorrow, grief, anguish, RAHHH*

    “The truth is, you were always strong.”
    “Of course I am. I’m you ,” he laughs.
    And then he dissolves into starlight.

    This whole part, MY FUCKING HEARTT these are now my fucking trigger words to start a waterfall out of my eyes 😭
