Obi-Wan narrowed his eyes. "Who are you?" He asked, hoping a direct question would yield answers. The old man seemed adept at side-stepping information when asked a bit more deftly. “I’ve never heard of a Master with your level of talent.”
The old man seemed surprised. “If you’ve never heard of one like me, then what good would my name be? You wouldn’t know it.”
Obi-Wan felt a flare of irritation, and quickly squashed it. The old man blinked, as if he hadn’t expected to feel that, and he smiled, sadly. “My name is Luke,” he said, as if a peace offering.
The force trilled in his ear, and Obi-Wan frowned. "Luke what?" He asked, and the old man, this Luke, smiled wryly.
"Luke Skywalker.”

Summary
Ahsoka Tano told Din to bring Grogu to the Seeing Stone on Tython, and Grogu would be able to call out to other Jedi. Ahsoka Tano did not say that other Jedi might call out to him or that the pillar of blue light was actually a type of planetary transportation.
Din ends up on a planet he's never heard of with nothing but his armor and his child. A lot has changed but his mandate hasn't. He must reunite Grogu with one of his kind. But first, he has to help these ade win a civil war against the dar'buir who abandoned them.
AKA Din goes back in time and doesn't realize it. He meets some other Mandalorians, gains another child, and then goes to Tatooine, because it's familiar enough to be called home.

Summary
On the planet Pern, Thread is falling and the dragonriders have risen up to defend the planet from its ancient enemy. Not everything is peaceful in the Weyrs, the homes of the dragonriders.
The Holds beholden to Stark Weyr are unhappy, because the dragonriders are taking extra tithes. Weyrleader O'diah seems not to care, but Wingleader A'tony does and so do many of his friends.
Bandits are plaguing the Holds of the Western Coast, leaving the Weyrleaders of Shield and Asgard Weyrs concerned. They won't stop the Holds from having a Gather to celebrate a Thread-free day, nor will they stop dragonriders from attending. L'thor of Asgard meets the Lady Jane at one such Gather and Cl'ton, green rider from Shield, runs into his brother after many years, but Barney is hiding something.
