In the Cooldown for this episode, Brennan mentions that if Azune had said to Thjazi that Thimble was supposed to place the glyph on him, rather than just someone, the execution scene would have gone very differently. This is my take on that (although it doesn't end up being very different)

He had read about sex and the biological functions of various species, and he knew that an orgasm was the explosive release of tension that built in the body through sexual activities. He knew the bodily processes of it, how it could reset the brain and body, how an orgasm can fix a headache or a stuffy nose or a bad mood.
The books didn't tell him what it felt like.

Percy is both the guest of honor as well as the centerpiece that Vex calls her prized possession and treats as her most valuable piece of art. Vex can't think of a better way to show him off than to let everyone try him out.
Everyone loves Percy in their own way. Thankfully Percy needs love in all those ways.

The copy of Aengus Albenan’s Tale of Sorrow and Familiarity lay worn in his hand, the spine of the book creased and bent, as though re-read countless times.
