“Nah, we’re way cooler than Kokiri.” Wind recovers first, and he moves to the front of the group and kneels down with a bright grin. “I’m Wind, what’s your name?”
Time - he’s smaller than Four, dear Hylia he’s so little - blinks at him, then ducks his head a bit. Hyrule notices that he’s holding a fistful of the fabric of his tunic, like Hyrule does when he gets nervous. “… Link.”

Wild tries to navigate the world in a smaller and weaker version of his body. If that isn’t bad enough, several people claiming to be the heroes of the past show up, and won’t believe that he’s actually over one hundred!
Or,
Wild is turned into an eight year old before meeting the team, and no one actually believes that he’s a one hundred and seventeen year old. Shenanigans occur.

Summary
The Chain finds themselves in a new land, and almost immediately stumble across a young man claiming to be the hero. The problem? He's clearly not. But he does have some information on this new land they've found themselves in. Too bad he chose the one Stable that had the REAL hero sitting inside, enjoying a cup of tea.
The idea of this story came from Star606, and I couldn't help but write it out! It's not edited, so forgive any mistakes. I wrote this in like an hour.

Summary
Wild's slate has always interested the rest of the chain. The heroes often had tools and abilities they could call on at anytime, Wild's stale seemed to be a little more special. The slate acted as a magically bag to store any and every tool, food or weapon as well the main tool for all of Wild's abilities. Though, unknown to most of the chain, Wild's slate had a much more practical use and a physical connection to his body. But of course, Wild felt no reason to tell this information to anyone else. He didn't think that had a purpose anyway.
I.E. Wild's slate works as a built in life support system. He does not know this until something happens to make him realize this.

Neither of them move. Neither of them look away. Tears roll down her cheeks, just as gloom drips from his. And for the first time since Zelda woke at Lookout Landing, the world crystallizes around her.
She made it home, and home is barely recognizable.

However, some part of him is so innately exhausted that it’s numb at the concept. “Upon either my own death or Gannon's I return in time. Over time the curse has strengthened, making the time loops more and more unhinged. The circumstances of my awakening are different every time, but are rarely fortunate. No one’s been able to so much as notice the curse, but I think it’s safe to say it’s evolved to carry a very potent curse of misfortune. There’s more to the curse, but it’s powerful and inconsistent enough it’s hard to pin down with a simple name.”
“A time loop? Like the Hero of Time?” Twilight asks, stunned. It explains Link’s vague words earlier and the aged sense to his mind. It must be far more than just taxing on the mind. No wonder he was so distraught earlier. He’s been -

But, when she realizes her instructor is— in her own words—'a rude, impolite, stuck-up, bossy, condescending, disrespectful, arrogant, selfish, wretched young knight' named Link who she absolutely can’t stand from the moment she meets him, she’s determined to make this experience difficult for him as well. At least, that's what she intended at the start.

Roy Mustang's words were laced with a thoughtful hum, and Edward tried not to feel hurt by the misassumption. Many heard his title and assumed it came down to his automail arm and leg. Ed had just hoped the Colonel - after everything - would've been different; that Mustang would've looked past Edward's ill-fitting uniform and cripplingly-heavy automail and only see him as a person.
''But,'' Mustang continued, pensive, ''I think they spelled your title wrong. You're not Fullmetal, you should be Fullmettle. As in, you are full of mettle.''
Edward blinked, utterly baffled.
''Mettle, kid. M-E-T-T-L-E.''
Mustang spelled it out for him. Literally. A genuine smile tugged at the Colonel's lips as he rumbled out a fleeting chuckle, affectionately sweeping a hand over the top of Edward's golden crown. The boy's throat constricted as an annoying warm blur suddenly invaded his vision. He had experienced more kind words and actions under this man's brief command than he had experienced in a long, long time.
It was just a shame that it was only a temporary arrangement.
