No one wanted him and no one could love him. Not before. Not ever. This was just a fact of his existence he had long since accepted. So, why? Why did fate have to be so cruel and give him not one, not two, but twenty-one soulmates? Hadn't he suffered enough? He already knew he wasn't worth anyone's love, he didn't need to reminded with what would no doubt be complete rejection from his soulmates. He wouldn't survive that. He wouldn't.
So, why? Why was fate so cruel to him? Hadn't he lost enough already?

Mineta thought going to U.A. would allow him to avoid all his soulmates. He was sure there was no way they'd be going to the same school as him, but he was wrong.
