Summary
Eddie Diaz has his hands full. He lost his home in the tsunami, he's been transferred to the 118 during the aftermath, and the man who saved Chris and Abuela is still unconscious in the ICU. And now, on top of everything, he's finding post-it notes in someone else's writing reminding him of things nobody else in the world could know about, in places only he has been.

Summary
A lazy day starts with Eddie accidentally telling Buck he loves him and Buck rushing to do something grand to say it back. All of this would be fine if he hadn't left his phone at his apartment. Now, Eddie has to listen to it ring out beneath the rubble of his sunken building, wondering how he's gonna bring Buck home.

The alarm nearly pulls him out of bed before he remembers he's not there.
“That's us. Gotta go but I'll try and call you later, ok?”

It was about 6 months into the so-called relationship with Ana Flores that the 118 family met her… It was also the first and last time they saw her.

Eddie Diaz was enthralled with the new relationship with Miss Ana Flores and wanted to introduce her to his chosen family. He was a little apprehensive even after this long because she never got why he considered them his family, and she had no desire to meet Buck. Anytime he brought up Buck in a conversation, she pursed her lips and changed the subject. She even did it when Christopher went on about the adventure he had with Buck on their days off and Christopher glared at her, stomping off. Eddie knew that despite the talk Buck and Chris had, his son still had obvious reservations about this relationship. He hoped to smooth things over if he could get Buck to agree to dinner, which was difficult because he always said he was busy. (How he was, Eddie didn't know because he was either with his niece or with Chris. Somehow he was never around when Ana was).

“Yeah, Naomi has one on the way,” Maddie says, sniffling. “God, you can't keep scaring me.”
“They're still a little ways out, they're going to be coming from the southern part of the city,” Naomi cuts in.
Buck fumbles the other clip. “Is it—”
“Yep,” Maddie says.
“Please tell me it's not—”
“Oh, it is.”
