“Let me spell this out for you, Steven.” Steve's father set his elbows on his knees and leaned over to give a piercing stare into Steve as he delivered his blow. ”You break things off with William Hargrove and follow our rules or I will fire Neil Hargrove and make sure he knows it is because of his son.” Steve fought the bile pushing itself up his throat. “If we do what we ask Steven, I will be sure to send Neil Hargrove on as many out of state business as I can find.”
Steve makes a deal with the devil to keep those he loves safe. The Party can't understand why Steve decided to cut them all out and work for his dad. Billy thought Steve knew what their relationship meant to him, but when Steve says he never wants to see him again Billy tries not to be consumed by the rejection. He just wishes he knew why.

Church clasped onto Tucker as tightly as he could.

Those words caught Church off guard and were the final push Tucker needed. The shield dropped, bullets, fired past, and Tucker shoved Caboose out of the ship to crash onto the pelican by Sarge. Aqua blinked to white and the next moment Tucker dropped as the butterfly doors of Staff of Charon shut. The AIs were fizzing and sparking. Church couldn’t handle it anymore. The emergency systems kicked in; there was warning of emergency shutdown, and-After Tucker sacrifices himself for the Reds and Blues. They're ready to get Tucker back, and no more of this stupid sacrificing shit. I'm talking to you, Blues. Why can't you let me just do nothing for one week without Red Team having to save your asses.
It just keeps getting worse! Felix is apparently alive, and now he's started some ancient Sanghelios doomsday prophecy. Stop being a grumpy emo child, Wash. We're gonna go talk to Junior and get your boyfriend back. -

Until he saw some creep dropping stuff in ladies' drinks, so 'course Scout (a real gentleman and hero to the ladies) stepped in to save the day. As with most heroic deeds, the bad guy isn't too happy 'bout that and decides to repay the favor.

Yamaguchi doesn't greet him at the bus stop (Not that Tsukki cares.) Or practice (Not at all.) Then Tsukki sees that Yamaguchi has a black eye and a swollen lip, and finds out he was jumped on the way to school. He just happens to need to go that same direction after school now. Low and behold, Yamaguchi's attackers are there too! Pathetic.

Scott can’t hear a heartbeat; he can’t hear anything besides the snapping of the flames and the creaking of the unstable house. He can’t hear Stiles but he can smell Stiles and his room and it’s all burning but the realization that Stiles is dead and he can’t even get his body hits him and Scott crumbles in the burning room. He’s lying on the floor, desperate to hear Stiles move or talking or just anything to assure him that Stiles is alive.
