    Summary

There’s so much Court remembers about his little brothers, and yet so little of it matters.

He hadn’t been with them when they started middle school. He hadn’t been there to awkwardly avoid eye contact when they presented. He hadn’t been able to drive them to the movies or threaten prom dates or buy them their first drink.

But Courtland watches them. He always watches them, helping where he can, keeping them safe the only way he knows how.

    Careful violence.

    ---

Courtland stalks his little brothers and helps them from the shadows, until Tom Ryder forces him out of hiding.

    Summary

Obi-Wan Kenobi, Anakin Skywalker and Ahsoka Tano are captured by the Mandalorian Empire on a mission to protect Padme Amidala. The good news is: they all succesfully hide their identities so they easily escape the Integration centre, they get forced into, which was not adapted to keep Jedi trapped. The bad news: none of them are very good at keeping a low profile. At all.

“Barriss Offee is one of Ahsoka’s new classmates.”
    “Is she…?”
“...integrated?” Ahsoka finished his question. “Yes but she still promised she wouldn’t tell on us being here.”
    “Could she be lying?”
“Sure, but what could we do about it?”
“I got promoted,” Anakin tried to hide his enthusiasm. “I am now allowed to repair beskar'gam for the palace guard.”
Padme rubbed her eyes. “Well talking about promotions… I guess I am now the president of the parent teacher association of Ahsoka's school.”
Obi-Wan sighed. “How did every single one of us managed to make our situation even worse than it already was?”
Anakin looked at him with narrowed eyes. “Every single one of us?”
Obi-Wan closed his eyes, took a deep breath and answered. “I slept with the Mand’alor’s son.”
    “YOU DID WHAT?”

    Summary

His grandmother was the one who taught Gen about their connection.

Someone else might have called it magic, or a power, or a gift. But she never used any of those words. “It’s simply what we are,” she told him. “A conversation between us and the land.”

The spirits of the place - root, leaf, cloud, river, stone - spoke to them. And they could speak back, even command to a gentle extent. Gen’s grandmother could coax stubborn plants into flourishing, call a storm’s attention until it gathered overhead, or listen to the wind mutter news from distant hills. She said every human had a connection to the earth’s spirit, but most were deaf to it. Gen and his grandmother, though - theirs ran deep. Deeper than reason, deeper than blood.

    --

Gen is magic. This changes everything.
